Erica Lai, MD

Dr. Erica Lai is a board-certified gynecologist and completed fellowship training in Urogynecology / Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She offers her patients both medical and surgical management for various pelvic floor disorders and can customize treatment plans to fit her patients’ individual needs. Her surgical expertise includes minimally invasive gynecologic approaches, such as vaginal and Da Vinci robotic pelvic reconstruction, as well as open abdominal procedures.  

She is interested in clinical research and has presented her work at national society conferences. Dr. Lai is a reviewer for several scientific journals and has multiple publications. She is also involved in the mentoring and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.  

Although Dr. Lai is an active academician, she prioritizes her patients’ wellbeing and provides compassionate care. Her clinical areas of focus include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary tract infections, overactive bladder, urinary and fecal incontinence, fistulas, and other pelvic floor disorders.
